Christmas Trip

We took a quick trip home for Christmas.

We started our trip by visiting the Zoo Lights and the Kooky Kanuck.
The thing I loved the most about the Zoo Lights was that Dasher and Dancer were there!:)

Christmas Eve we spend at my Granny's. We had a new little reindeer this year. This is my brothers little boy, Fallan.
Madelyn got lots of gifts and she isn't even here yet!

My mom got me this Kalencom Diaper bag. I can't wait to use it. It is so me!
William and I exchanged gifts before we left for our trip.

William got an iTunes gift card & a playstation 3 game.

I love Peanuts and always seem to miss them when they show them on TV at the Holiday's. So I got the Peanuts Holiday Collection for Christmas. Now Maddie and I can watch them every year:)
I also got the Willow Tree Figure called "Cherish"
I love it! It is priceless because this is only a season that I get to be pregnant.
Also, I got a Pandora Charm that was a baby carriage. I love it too! I think about Maddie every time I look at it.
Maddie got a box full of clothes, shoes and goodies from my grandmother.

22 weeks.

Happy 22 weeks!

I turned 22 weeks on the 23rd, the day before I felt a little foot tapping my left side and it just made my day.

Christmas Eve

Every year we take a Christmas picture together on Christmas Eve or close there by. Since this is our last Christmas as a family of 2 I was looking back through the years. It was fun looking back.

ENJOY!

Baby Monitor...

I got the video monitor for Maddie for a STEAL!

I had been waiting for several months on this deal.

A friend of mine has this monitor, it wasn't the first she got. After trying several other monitors this was her favorite. After doing much research it had become my favorite too!

This baby originally cost anywhere from $199(amazon), $165(walmart), or $120(sam's club) but I got it for $65 .

SUPER EXCITED!

Maddie's room really isn't far at all from ours, but this should make it that much easier to be able to put her in her room.

Merry Christmas!

Just wanted to wish a Merry Christmas to everyone who reads my blog!

This is the last year it will just be the 2 of us on our Christmas card.

Dr check-up

I went got my OB check up on Monday(12/20), 21 weeks 4 days.
Maddie's heartbeat was 156.
I gained 2 pounds, for a total of 4 pounds since last month.
I measured 22 weeks.
At our next appointment I get to do the wonderful glucose test, which I pray is negative!
And we will have a 3D/4D ultrasound done...CAN'T WAIT!:)

Christmas party

Sunday we had our Group Christmas party. Our group has grown quiet a bit since last year since we are going through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University.
We ate, and ate and ate some more then we played Dirty Santa.
The popular gifts were candles and Starbucks!

Here is our group, a few people are missing but this is it for the most part.

We can't forget the sweet babies. One was already asleep for the day, but this is precious!

21 weeks

Well, even though I def don't want my belly to get any bigger I love knowing that my sweet little girl is growing in there. :)

I turned 21 weeks on last Thursday 12/16 but this picture was taken on Sunday 12/19

Maddie's name

I decided to paint the letter for Maddie's wall myself instead of paying someone to make them for me. For one I have the time and for two it makes them just that more special since I made them for her.

Here are a few pictures of the progression of the letters as I painted them.

Light Blue and Dark Pink

Light Blue, Dark Pink, Dark Blue, Yellow and Light Green

And the finished product!
Light Blue, Dark Pink, Dark Blue, Yellow and Light Green, Light Pink and Brown

It matches the colors of her bedding perfectly!

Now, we just wait to paint her room and hang them:)

My Fav Ornaments

My Christmas tree isn't all about the colors or the tree to me. It tells a story of our family throughout the years and I just love it!

This year we added a few new things that are special to me and these 2 ornaments have to be my FAV!

A sweet friend gave us this ornament.

and I went and bought this ornament the day we found out that we were having a little girl.
Last year I made my entire nursing class Christmas ornaments. I am glad nursing school is over but I do miss my little family at school.
A little diploma that I made for William when he graduated from college.
The ornament for when we bought our first house.
Our kitty, Rylee.
Our doggy, Jack.
My 2nd momma bought me this ornament 2 years ago while we were in nursing school and I think it is so cute!
Our First Christmas Together=Our first Christmas married.
Got this ornament one year at a Family Christmas party and I just think he is so cute.
This little flamingo is from our vacation to Florida this year.
This little fire truck makes for lots of laughs! Christmas 2007, I got stuck on the roof of our house trying to put the lights up and we had to call for help:)
William has won a couple of Fantasy Football Championships.

And last but not least. I started playing Bunco in 2007 and I have a ornament for every year:)

How we spend our days...

I have been sick the past week or so along with lots of crafting has kept me home quiet a bit. It is always so interesting to me what our pets do while we aren't here... So here is a little insight.

This is how I found the dog while I was crafting one day.

The cat slept right beside me just like this almost the entire time I painted.
One night I was sitting in the recliner and Jack got up in it and sat beside me. This is how he looked at me. Sweet little boy layed his head on my belly. I am sure he is ready to protect Maddie:)
Rylee is just "In Love" with all the baby stuff. It's a fight to get her to stay out of it so until it's closer to time to bring Maddie home I am not going to fight her.

I piled the bassinet full of stuff so she wouldn't get it in, but she didn't seem to care.
Then later that same day I found her sleeping on top of the dresser box.

Fayetteville square

There is a town close by where we live that decorates the Town Square with lots of lights at Christmas time and since I love Christmas lights we try to make it down to see them.

Here we are viewing the lights the past 3 times we have gone.

20 weeks and Bunco

So it was my month to host Bunco and of course I picked Christmas! My favorite time of the year, and lots of decorations to go along:)

We ate Honey Ham, Arkansas Green Beans, Cornbread Casserole and Martha Harps Rolls for dinner. We then played two rounds of Bunco then we had Caramel Apple Crisp and Vanilla ice cream for dessert with Hot Chocolate!

Here's all the girls!

Some how to 2 preggos ended up sitting in chairs in the middle:)

Here's a better picture of my tree. I just really love it this year!

I decided to start taking a belly picture every week starting today, since I am 20 weeks today. I can't tell any change yet, but I want to remember these weeks because they will go by so fast!
