Summer FUN in spring

We are really enjoying the warm weather! Maddie is getting so big and it's so much fun!

We have been having picnics at the park with daddy and with our friends. Going to the splash park, going on evening walks. Lots of fun!

This was Maddies 1st time to the splash park and she loved it!

This was our 2nd trip to the splash park and she has no fear! She had no problem walking across the way by herself where the big kids were.

If Maddie sees us with a cup she wants to drink out of one too so I give her Williams cup her won in a drawing at a tennis tournament.

She loves it!

Outside fun!

We played out in the yard yesterday and by Big Girl had so much fun!

She sat in her chair all by herself for a rest and helped momma pick up horse apples.

Today we had a picnic lunch at the park with Daddy.

Then we swing a little.

We played outside in the water for a bit this evening

Then we went for a walk and this is how Maddie enjoyed her walk.

I noticed this evening that Maddies top right tooth has finally cut through!

Tennis State Championship

We spent the weekend in LR for the State Tennis Championship.

Williams 3.0 tennis team won state so they will be heading to sectionals in a few months.

Friday for lunch Maddie sat in the floor in our hotel room and enjoyed her lunch from big people plates.

Firsts...

Today we went and watching Daddy during tennis class.

She got up on the bleachers and had her a fun little time!

We got some Chickfila for lunch and Maddie had her first lemonade and loved it!

Maddies 1st Oreo!

13 months

You have the sweetest little personality and are happy about everything most of the time.
You give hi fives and blow kisses, you like to be chased and will look behind to make sure the person is still after you.
You still like to be read to but want to be on the go when we read to you.
You got over throwing your fits, and I am SOO glad!
You have settled on liking Vanilla Almond Milk, you don't care for cows milk not even if it has strawberry or chocolate syrup in it.

Mothers Day

On mothers day I took Maddie to see my dad in prison. She hadn't been to see him since she was 2 1/2 months old and we were in town so we went.

Maddie really seemed to enjoy our time there.

Graduation

Thursday night my mom graduated with her Bachelors from UAFS

Here's my little sweetie all really to go.

She is a hoot! Makes the cutest silly faces.

Can't get a normal picture with her looking and her hand out of her mouth these days but none the less.

Afterwards we went out to dinner and Maddie took the lemon off my moms glass. I thought she would try it and put it down but nope, she actually ate part of it. She only has 2 teeth so I was shocked!

Friday morning she wanted to play in her hichair so I let her, she had a lot of fun!

We went shopping at Goodwill but had to take a break for a nap before we got started. She never sleeps on me without a fight but this time she just went right to sleep, guess she was tired.

Saturday we went to the park to walk and play.

Maddie doesn't know she's not big enough to climb this yet.

Then she decided to play in the dirt a little.

Found her some treasures, a rock and a pinecone.

Wanted to climb up like she was a big kid.

Then we went to my cousins graduation party, it was raining and a little cool so mom covered her up with a jacket and she sat and ate for a while.

I was looking through some old pictures today and had these 3 to compare. I was shocked! I don't see that much difference when I look in the mirror everyday but I do when I look at these pictures.

Visiting family

Tuesday morning we headed to visit family for a few days.

The drive usually takes 4 1/2 hours but since it was just Maddie and I we took our sweet time.

We stopped for a morning snack at a truck stop.

She loved the fig bar.

Then we stopped at Chickfila for lunch. Her first time to have Chickfila and she liked it!

We got to Nana Mills house and cousin Fallan came to play. They loved looking out the window at uncle Jesses dog Ruby.

Then we went over to visit great granny Willa and great papaw Jesse.

I used to admire all these antique nic naks when I was a kid and Maddie did the same thing:)

Wednesday we headed to Mississippi for the day to visit family.

Maddie was a little shy with papaw when we first got there but it didn't take long for her to warm up.

Papaw Bill has some of the basketballs that were Williams when he was a kid. Maddie thought she was big enough to pick up both of the balls at the same time.

Maddie hasn't been eating well since we've been here but she decided she likes sitting in her chair even when she's not eating.

A commercial with babies came on tv and Maddie wanted to watch it so this is how she did it...haha!

Thursday morning we went to the park for a walk and to feed the ducks. Maddie loved it!

Then we came to Nanas and had a Popsicle.

Cousin Fallan came to play. Trying to get a 12 month and 20 month old in a picture together isnt easy!
