Operation toy room

After the Christmas gifts were all unpacked we needed to get rid of our office and make it a toy room.

Maddie seems to enjoy it!

Family

The rest of the week we spent time visiting family.

It's eyes and mouth moved and was very interesting to Maddie.

These 2 are so sweet to each other, sometimes;)

The last day we were home William and I had a shopping day while Maddie stayed and played with her cousins and Papow.

Looks like she had fun!

Christmas Day

We started off the morning at Papow's. Maddie had presents from Nana in Florida, Papow and Uncle Chris and Aunt KK, Lillie and Bubba.

She loved opening everything!

She got a little dog from Nana.

Papow got her a little walker and ride on toy and a dog.

This was the madness during present time...

Then we headed over to a friends house. They are like family and we visit them on Christmas each year. With a baby this year we went earlier in the day so we had lunch with them.

Mrs Polly made a Happy Birthday Jesus cake for the girls.

Then we headed back to Papow Bills for Christmas dinner and later in the day we headed down the road to visit some of Williams cousins.

Maddie had a ball as you can tell.

Christmas Eve

We had a pretty laid back Christmas Eve since we had already been to visit one of my grandmas.

We had the traditional Christmas Eve family gathering at my Granny's.

Later in the week we headed to Papow Bills house to meet Daddy.

Maddie was so tired after all of our adventures that she just passed out at bedtime.

Lillie and Bubba were being silly sometime in the afternoon and I couldn't help but get a picture.

This is a rare moment that Bubba actually sits down. Not only was he sitting but he was playing so sweet with Maddie.

My sweet baby girl, she is growing so fast!

Nana's

Maddie and I went home early last week to get in a few extra days of visiting family before Daddy arrived.

We were busy in those few days!

Maddie loved all of the new toys that were cousin Fallan's and he loved the toys that Maddie brought.

The next day we played around the house and then had lunch at my Granny's and put up the Christmas tree.
Well, I watched while I rocked Maddie.

The next day we visited my dad's mom.
Maddie had alot of fun!

We got back to my moms and she thought this was so funny.

8 months

You are 8 months old today.
I think you weigh about 20 pounds.
You are wearing size 3 diaper.
You are wearing 6-9 month clothes.
You are wearing size 2 shoes.
You crawl one handed and roll everywhere.
You are a little busy body. You pull up to your knees very well and are still working on getting to your feet.
You still don't have any teeth, but I think it will be soon.
You are a very happy baby.
You like bubbles alot.

Santa is in town

Our town has Santa come around the neighborhoods to see the kids and pass out candy.

Christmas at the Lewallen's

We celebrated our Christmas today, just the 3 of us and the pets.

Maddie is a hoot. Now that I actually give her the presents she needed a little help to want to open them.

These duckies are pretty yummy mama.
