Baby Will is here!

This post is not really in order, just want to post before I forget anything.

Last picture as a family of 3. Off to meet our baby Will!

Last belly picture before our little man enters the world.

Introducing William Edward Lewallen, III(Will) 8lbs4ozs 20 1/2 inches long born at 8:01 am on 2/11/14

The big sister is excited!!!

She loves to hold her Baby Will and rub him on the head.

I spent a lot of time doing this while we were at the hospital.

My sweet baby boy.

Love these 2 precious gifts!

Our first picture as 4!

My mom and Granny were here for Baby Wills arrival. Once again my mom took most of the pictures and I didn't get one of her with the baby. We will have to fix that soon!

My Granny and Baby Will

He looks so tiny in that big ole crib.

This little boy has stolen my heart like I could have never dreamed of.

Maddie is excited about being a big sister. She loves to tell Baby Will that she is his big sister.

Getting ready to take the baby boy home.

Newbie baby picture.

Ready for his first ride.

1st Valentines Day.
We had a Dr appt checkup on Valentines day. His weight was down to 7lbs 8ozs.

He may not weigh as much as Maddie did when she was born but he sure feels bigger to me.

Holding her baby brother for the first time.

Meeting Baby Will for the 1st time. Daddy holding him after getting to cut his cord.

When we got home Maddie wasted no time at all to introduce Baby Will to Woody and Jesse.

Papaw Bill and Baby Will. This is who Will is named after.

Last picture with just my girl before surgery.

First picture of us with our boy.

Getting to hold him before he left for the nursery.

Baby Will arrived and was able to go to the well baby nursery instead of the NICU which is a huge praise! He had some sugar issues after he was born(turns out I might have had gestational diabetes after all that didn't show up on the tests when I was tested). The ultrasound of his kidneys on the day that he was born showed no change from before he was born. We will be heading to ACH on Tuesday for 3 different appointments and hopefully some answers.

Baby Will Update

The Dr said the Baby Will does have an obstruction in his left kidney. The right kidney has a little bit of extra fluid in it but nothing of concern right now that will hopefully correct itself. We are to come back to Arkansas Children's when Baby Will is 3 months old to get a Renogram to tell us how the kidneys are functioning. Depending on how his kidneys are functioning will depend on the treatment that we continue forward with. If he has little function he would need surgery, if he has good function then the dr would continue to watch him. If the function is good in the left kidney the obstruction could correct itself as he grows.

Hearing the Dr say today that he expects Will to live a full life was music to my ears!

God is really showing up and showing is might hand! While I was pregnant the Dr told us that this large kidney could be a sign or multiple things one of which was Down syndrome, then at the next visit he wasn't sure that the kidney would even function because he saw she he thought were cysts which turned out they were not! Then there was the question if I needed to deliver the baby in Little Rock because he might needs immediate surgery. Then the possibility of a NICU stay because he was having to born so early to prevent his kidney from dieing. God has definitely shown up and taken care of our precious baby! He is a mighty God!!!

Last update as 3...

Nothing like cold pizza for breakfast. She won't eat hot pizza with pepperoni but can throw it down when cold!

Holding mommys hand per her request:)

We can't wait for Frozen to be out on DVD in a March! Maddie is requesting to watch it again:/ so we read books, play with magiclips and watch YouTube clips until then.

Oh this cat! She's funny. No where in sight, but as soon as you pour a bowl of cereal she will stalk you, and sometimes not even wait for you to finish before she tries drinking out of your bowl.

Last peek at baby will before he is born. He wasn't very cooperative for him Jon stress test on Monday so we got to see him in ultrasound and turns out the little booger flipped around again and is breech.

Got enough bags there? She a cutie!

Maddie told me Punzel was in timeout for hitting Ariel...uh oh!

I've had the flu and bronchitis and ended up taking Maddie to get tested, but we had to both wear these leaving the clinic. Turns out it was negative, yeah! She just has a sinus infection.

Maddie is testing out the baby rocker with Cinderella before baby Will arrives.

Made an impromptu trip to Chuck E Cheese. Maddie and Daddy played this game per her request. Maddie did surprisingly well!

Maddie and Daddy riding the virtual roller coaster.

My sweet baby girl, cheesin Big for mommy!

Maddie wore this to bed! I did not argue;)

Maddie had a blast on her last day as a only child. She went to school, skipped her nap, played with Nana, Papaw and Granny Willa, took a bubble bath and went to bed early!

Tomorrow we will be up early and off to the hospital to have us a baby:)

36 weeks

It's finally here! Just a couple more days.

Heard from the Pediatric Urologist. I get to deliver here in NWA(yeah!) on Tuesday. The Urologist wants to see Will when he is a week old as long as he doesn't have any complications after he is born. The Urologist believe he will need surgery, but we have a little time to spare to get it looked at. My regular OB Dr has told us to be prepared for a NICU stay at birth due to Baby Will's gestational age at birth.

8 more days!

35 weeks-measuring 38 weeks

My regular OB Dr is recommending the option that we deliver this baby in LR so that he doesn't have to go for a long transport after delivery. My Dr is going to see what the Perinatologist thinks and see what the Pediatric Urologist suggests on Thursday and go from there. Only 8 more days!
