Baby first Halloween

Maddie's first Halloween was a success!

Trick or treating at Daddy's work for the fall festival, Costume Parade at KDO and then watching all the trick or treaters come to our door:)

After she was done being a lady bug I put the tutu on her that I made before she was born. She loved it and thought she needed to eat it!

Monday at KDO the teachers were dressing up as nerds, here was my day nerd

And here was my need I turned into for the trick or treatees

Fall Fun...

Tuesday evening Maddie wasn't feeling good at all from her shots and she had taken a long nap so we went and watched Daddy play a quick tennis match.

Then on Thursday afternoon her fever finally broke so we headed off to Sam's to do some grocery shopping. Maddie sat in the cart for the first time! I think I will just wear her in the Baby Bjorne until she's too big!

Friday we went to the Fall Festival at Daddy's work.

She didn't stay in her costume long before she was hot. So then she played in the floor at Daddy's desk.

Then Saturday morning we had family pictures and this is what Maddie did for an hour and a half once we were done.

I so wanted to join her! I have been getting sick myself and we all had a complete wardrobe change 30 min before pictures due to clothes not fitting...YIKES! It turned out very well though.

Then Saturday afternoon we headed to Tanyard Creek in Bella Vista, it is Beautiful this time of year! The trail is just a little over 2 miles and we hiked it with Maddie in tow, she absolutely loved it and passed out as soon as we got back to the car. She talked the entire time we were on the trail!

It's finally cool enough that Maddie is able to be Super Girl!:)

Daddy is under my Spell

6 month check-up

Maddie had her 6 month well baby check-up and shots today.
She got 4 shots...boo:(
The Dr said she is a healthy girl and is growing great!

Weight-18lbs 4.7oz(86.22%)
Height-26 inches(54.49%)
Head-17.2 inches(86%)

The Dr says he sees 2 front teeth coming in on the bottom but I still don't see them, guess it will be soon!

We are having a hard day after shots. We enjoyed lunch with Daddy and now she has a fever of 102.1. Lots of cuddle time!

We finished up our week of visiting at my moms. We had alot of fun!

We're back home now and getting back into our routine.

6 months

You are 6 months old today.
I think you weigh about 18 pounds.
You are wearing size 3 diaper.
You are wearing mostly 3-6 month clothes, some 6-9.
You like your big girl car seat.
You reached for mommy and kissed daddy in the past week.
You are wearing size 1 shoes.
You like to ride the horsey and dance.
You like to talk, ALOT!

You are rolling over more and more all the time, and sit up on your own very well and your toes seem very tasty!
I just love your little sweet laid back personality. I think you are looking more and more like your daddy.

You started eating real food last week and so far you have had butternut squash, acorn squash, green beans and carrots. All of which you have loved!

You are scooting yourself backwards when you are laying on your tummy.

I still think you are teething but no teeth yet.
You are a very happy baby!

We started off our weekend watching Tangled. Yesterday we watched The Lion King and today we watched Snow White. I love Disney movies!

First Pumpkin Patch!

We took Madelyn to her first pumpkin patch on Saturday. She really enjoyed it! I couldn't get many pictures of her looking at me because she was so interested in the trees and new things around her.

Not much going on

We haven't had much going on lately but i feel so busy! Guess that's part of having a almost 6 month old!!!

I just love watching Maddie grow everyday. She is always doing fun new things like making funny faces in the mirror, rubbing her hand through my hair then grabbing it. Sitting up better and better everyday, I think were on the brink of crawling/scooting. She is rolling more in all directions and jabbering up a storm.
