Maddie seems to have a small obsession with the Christmas tree!:)
Today we watched Daddy play his last tennis match in his tournament. Maddie slept the whole time he played;)
Then we were off to the Christmas program at our church. Maddie seemed to enjoy it!
While I was getting some stuff done in the kitchen tonight, this is what I found Maddie doing.
I love it! Guess reading to her everyday is paying off;)
We took Maddie to see Santa for the first time today. She wouldn't smile for us. She was very interested in Santa and was bouncing on his leg.
Can't wait for many more years of this and hearing what she ask Santa for!
Maddie has decided to start clapping and waving bye bye to people. It is so sweet!
I took Maddie back to the Dr. Yesterday because she just keeps screaming so the Dr switched her from Amoxicillin to Augmentin and prescribed her breathing treatments to loosen up the gunk in her lungs so she doesn't get pneumonia.
Sweet little girl is having a rough time with this sickness.

We spent the afternoon at home watching Home Alone and Home Alone 2. Maddie seemed to like it!
So it was time for her breathing treatment so I got my machine out that is about 23 years old and the joker broke:(
Luckily we had a friend who let us borrow one until I can go pick up a new one on Monday.
William is in a tennis tournament this weekend so we went to watch him play on Friday evening. Maddie seemed to be in a much better mood and had fun!
This evening Maddie decided she would just take off crawling to the
Christmas tree and get her presents!
Nothing is safe anymore! She is getting into her diaper bag to get my wallet...
Such a big girl! Sitting up all by herself in the bathtub!
This morning Maddie and I went to story time at the Library. She had fun, and even crawled to get some bubbles!:)
Then we came home and I wrapped Maddie's 3 wise men gifts and put them under the tree. AND she crawled again! To get the bows:)
Maddie never really liked a paci, even as a newborn. Not sure why I try, but she does like chewing on them.
This sweet little girl is so congested and is having trouble sleeping, so I held her for her afternoon nap. Hate her being sick, but love holding her!:)
Yesterday morning I was flipping channels and this caught Maddies eye. She watched it for a good 10 minutes!
Sunday Maddie said Mama for the first time! Sadly I think it was cause her eat was hurting because she has a ear infection and bronchitis. I do hate it! Although, I have enjoyed rocking her to sleep and holding her:)

While William worked on Thursday evening I stayed up until 1:30 am putting up our Christmas decorations.
I really had no plans in putting the tree up, but I'm glad I was guided in the right direction by my sweet hubby!
I've scaled way back on decorations this year. I gave half of my decor away. I want to make sure I teach Maddie what Christmas is really about, and a ridiculous amount of decorations is not it!
For now we have our main tree, Maddie's tree, a Nativity scene, wreath on the front door and the stockings on the mantle.
Maybe next year I will put up my outside lights. I just hate to freeze my booty off for only 3 weeks worth light viewing.

We weren't able to be with our family this year due to my husband having to be on call for work but we still had a wonderful day! We had lunch with some very good friends!

Maddie has been working on getting on her knees for a few days and today she finally got on both knees and rocked back and forth!
Won't be long and she will be crawling. I'm sure she will have no trouble once the Christmas tree goes up!
Maddie and I have been sick for what seems like forever. I think we're to the point were not getting worse but were not getting better either...
Here is a little of what we have done this week.
Sunday we were at church all day for blessing baskets and this was William rocking Maddie while we worked in the nursery.

Monday Maddie had a fever and this is how she looked at me all day...no smiles:(

You roll everywhere! You push yourself backwards as well.
You have started trying to pull up on everything.
When I put you in your high chair if you see your food you scream until I feed you so I have to have it ready before hand.
You still don't have any teeth, but I think it will be soon.
You are a very happy baby, as long as mommy doesn't leave the room.
You like to watch Baby Einstein and you bounce yourself when you hear a song you like.
Maddie may skip crawling all together. Today she decided she wanted to pull up on one of her toys!
I am excited, but not ready for this!
I suppose her gums are hurting her today because she did alot of this...
And she has started rocking herself up and down like she is dancing when she hears music she likes in Baby Einstein
Yesterday Maddie and I walked to Harps. It was a little windy so she bundled up. Isn't she so cute?!?!
