Sick, again...

Saturday Maddie seemed to be feeling a bit better but still had a pretty high fever, 102, even with medicine every 4 hours.

She enjoyed watching Daddy grill out Saturday afternoon.

Sunday Maddie seemed better, still with a fever but wouldn't eat much and was very congested.

She decided sleep wasn't for her!

This morning she just didn't seem to feel well and wouldn't nurse or eat much food so we went back to the dr for a follow up from pneumonia to find out that she has a bad case of tonsillitis caused by a virus.

No fun!

I think we got plenty of mess to take care of the pain and congestion.

I found her laying in her house this morning, with the door closed.

Sunday we went to the park for a bit to let Daddy nap since he had worked the previous 2 nights and sole up as much sun as possible before the rain started.

Miss Maddie sure enjoyed it!

This is one of her newest thing, sticking out her tongue. All the time!

She will also wave to anyone she sees and she's been taking lots of steps this week.

Then she decided to lay back and relax in the swing.

Monday we woke up to rain and mommy having the stomach flu and fever, I was better by Wednesday, William got sick on Tuesday night and was better by Thursday.

Whew!
Never in my life!

I thought everything was good and we were all well until Maddie woke up with a temp of 103 this morning and it won't go below 100 even with meds so we headed to the Dr and found out Maddie has pneumonia.

So, she is on antibiotics and I'm praying getting better fast!

She didn't feel well at all this morning that she fell asleep on me while we were waiting on the Dr. She never sleeps on me without a fight, but not today. So I enjoyed these moments!

Poor gal, was actually smiling and then they poked her for blood and strapped her into this weird machine for a X-ray.

We have spent the afternoon in the recliner napping, watching tv and snacking.

11 months

Busy week

Why is it that little kids think tooting is so funny?

This is the face Maddie made after she tooted. All I could do was laugh. It's so sweet this little laugh she does.

Tuesday she got to hold her very 1st tennis ball while watching Daddy play a little tennis.

Wednesday we had a playdate at the park with some friends and got to swing some more:)

After the park we had to go by the dealership and while we waited we had some popcorn. This was so funny to me to see her stick her hand in the bag and grab popcorn to eat.

Mom this stuff is yummy!

Thursday we spent some time in the back yard crawling all over and trying to eat the grass.

We went to Tulsa on Friday to get my phone fixed and this little one seemed to have a blast with all the new adventures.

I have no idea what she is doing with her food but she was talking to it...

Today we had a friend over. Harper is 3 days younger than Maddie. The girls had lunch together.

Then they both took naps, at the same time:) then wee had snack time and some outside time:)

The other day she had spaghetti for the first time and loved it!

Today I had a Dr appt because I haven't felt well for almost 2 weeks now and felt tired no matter how much I slept. My lab work came back normal! The Dr said she thinks I have a little Postpartum Depression that is being made worse due to winter, and that maybe if I can change up my routine put Maddie in a MDO once a week and get through the next few weeks that should help. I did agree with her. I'm just praying this leaves as quickly as it came...

Then she took a little nap on me. Not normally like her but I enjoyed it!

Teefies

This little princess got her 2nd tooth this weekend:)

Yesterday afternoon Maddie was raiding Daddy's backpack and have him this sweet innocent smile.

Today she ate chicken for the 1st time and really seemed to like it!

She was not feeling well at all this afternoon. She laid on me for a bit and watched tv which is not like her normal self.

I enjoyed every minute of it!

She seemed to be a little better and got down to play, but fell and got a big knot on the back of her head.

Poor girl can't catch a break.

She did take a little nap on me after that.

Poor girls ears still seem to be bothering her so we are going for a check up on Wednesday.

I can't believe she is so big! Seems like it was just yesterday she was born.

Not to let the rough day slow her down any, she took some steps tonight walking back and forth between me and daddy.

Sickies

Maddie is slowly but surely getting better, but now I'm sick and I think she's still teething.

So we didn't do much this week.

Here she is one day playing and bouncing on my legs.

Then she decided she wanted to put her blocks up.

After we went grocery shopping she was a good little helper an helped me put groceries away.
