After a busy weekend we had a low key day on Monday to try and re coop.
We started out the morning watching some cartoons. While we were watching tv Maddie decided to steal my blanket and play with it in the floor.
Then in the afternoon we played outside in the water.
She will sit on anything that's low enough. She decided to sit on the pool, well until the water started pouring out.
She sat at her picnic table for a while to play.
She's getting so big!
William played in a local tennis tournament this weekend so we have been soaking up the sun watching him play.
Here's Maddie on Saturday rocking her first pigtails.
Here was our setup on Saturday to watch his Williams semi final match.
He played 3.0 singles and won so it was on to the semi finals on Saturday.
Later on Friday he played 3.0 doubles and they lost but played in a consultation match on Saturday.

He played his doubles consolation on Saturday night and they lost but had a lot of fun!

William didn't win the championship. He did great though! He has made such great improvement in his game in the last few months!
I hope I get to play double with him soon;)
Maddie woke up Thursday morning like this. It scared me because her eyes didn't look bad on Wednesday. A little Benadryl did the trick and we are on our way to recovery. Her eyes seem much better!
I was gathering laundry and Maddie got in Williams closet and get his tennis racquet. She loves to play with them!
She came and found me in the kitchen like this.

I was shocked to see that she knew the 2 went together:)
We're off to cheer Daddy on in a tournament this weekend!
It's been a busy week and it's only Wednesday!
Monday we had a play date at a friends house and Maddie loved this bouncy toy! I think he's called Rodi or something like that.
How can you not love that sweet smile?
Maddie had lasagna with us for dinner on Monday and I think she might have enjoyed it? She even licked her plate...haha!
Tuesday morning she had her first dentist appointment. It went well! Since I have lots of teeth problems and teeth problems are hereditary I wanted to get her started early!
The dentist said everything looked good, that she should be getting her top 2 teeth soon and he put some fluoride on her bottom 2. We go back in 6 months for a cleaning.

This morning Maddie had Peanut Butter for the first time on some toast. She loved it!
After breakfast she found my tennis racquet and was playing around with it. Maybe she will like tennis too when she is older.

Then this afternoon we had a Dr visit about allergies to find out that Maddie has Pink Eye. No fun!
Hope my baby is better soon!
Giving eye drops to a 1 year old every 4 hours isn't fun at all!
We had a much needed quiet weekend at home together as a family. Lots of tennis to be played in the near future:)
This morning after I got Maddie dressed for church. She didn't want to stand up for a picture, so this was the best I got.

After church we came home had a nap, lunch and played outside in the water table, pool, slide and sprinkler!
Maddie had LOTS of fun!
Over the past 2-3 days Maddie has started saying a few new words like "uh oh" and "whoa" both are just too cute!
Today I painted Maddie's piggies for the 1st time and she was very cooperative!
Here's how I kept her busy while I was painting and drying...
While I was getting dressed in the bathroom the evening Maddie had a big accident and bumped her guns quiet hard on the corner of the cabinet drawer. It was bleeding quiet a lot so I called our peditricians office and the nurse hotline called me back and told me how to care for it.
Poor baby! Mommy felt so bad for you. We sat in your room and rocked for a while and let you chew on a frozen teething ring. After you calmed down we went ahead and took you to church for FNO. You got to go to the 1 year old room tonight and your teacher said you had lots of fun on the playground and slide.
The other day I found Maddie in her play room with her Little People castle pulled out from the wall playing with it.
Was so sweet!
Later on that same day we had a picnic.
And Maddie got a BIG ball and loves it!
Her papaw got her this train for her Birthday and she loves it!
After tennis class we hung around a little watching Daddy and Maddie did this the entire time!
She tried fish for the first time. She want super crazy about those fish sticks.
This morning I turned it on Super Why instead of the Pirates and this little girl sat on her train and watched over half of the show. So sweet! Can't believe how big she is getting!
I could just eat her up!

I had to stop in VS one day last week and Maddie wanted to hold the bag so I let her and she was so happy!
Maddie is learning to climb on anything she can get her leg up on so she wanted to climb out of the bath tub!
Friday I had a root canal ad wasn't feeling good. Maddie started throwing stuff out of her dresser and I let her because it was easier than telling her no.

Off, poured her snack out but didn't want to give up the empty cup.
I thought she was so cute!
Today we had Maddie's 12 month check up. I just can't get over how grown up she is.
She weighed in at 24 pounds 10 oz(94%) and is 28.75 inches long(38%) and her head is 18.82 inches(98%).
She had a really good check up. She got 3 shots and some blood work done to check her iron level checked. Her iron is much better but the Dr will recheck it at her 15 month appointment.
Maddie started off her birthday with presents from Mommy and Daddy.
She got Elmo and all the accessories and a Birthday build a bear to take back each year to get a new outfit.

After lunch we talks to Nana Susan and swang for a little bit, then it was nap time.
After her afternoon nap we spent time outside playing.
