Today we had a ultrasound to see just how big our little girl has gotten since I have gestational diabetes and am on insulin. Well, she's not so little to only be 36 weeks! The ultrasound said that she was 8 pounds 9 ounces with +/- 20 ounces for error. So she could be anywhere from 7 pounds 5 ounces to 10 pounds 1 ounce. Weight wise she is measuring 39 weeks.
May not need those newborn clothes after all!
Since little Miss Madelyn is so big already and babies tend to gain a pound a week the last month my Dr. has offered to do a c-section in a couple of weeks.
So it won't be too long!
I can't wait for her to arrive and show her off!:)
We also had a non-stress test today, which everything looked good. So, we will go back again on Monday for another non-stress test.
