Bilateral Myringotomy

Aka Tubes

Maddie got her tubes bright and early this morning. We had to arrive at 645am. Maddie was all smiles and playing when we first arrived, until I guess she decided it was to early to be awake and she was hungry.

Here she is playing in the lobby waiting on her turn to be called back.

We didn't wait more than 15 minutes before they came and got us. Then we were in a small room to talk with the Dr and Anesthesia. That took about 10 minutes and they came and got her. She was gone all of 9 minutes. I didn't even have time to do all of my Bible reading for the day, it was that fast!

She came back and was absolutely mad at the whole world. She had a little juice, rested on me, cried, rested some more, cried more, rested on daddy, cried more, then I nursed her and we go to leave. She was really fussy in the car and fell asleep on the way home. We were in the car on the way home by 8am.

She took a small nap and for up and had yogurt and several snacks before taking another nap. She was super fussy and would cry for no reason but nothing a little love and cuddle couldn't fix. She later took. 1.5 hour nap and then had lunch. We went out and about for the afternoon and she took a 20 min nap in the car. Was really good while we dropped off our consignment clothes and then fell asleep in the car on the way home after we left the sample store.

Here's one of the few sweet smiles I received today. I just live that smile!

The sample store is usually a hit or miss kinda thing.

Today was a hit!

I have been looking for yard toys for Maddie that don't cost over $100, which are hard to find.

This super cute little house was only $40! At Walmart it's $130. I was so excited!

She loves the super cute little house! She would walk around it and when I would bang on it so would she.

She would open and close the door and go in and out. So sweet! I can't believe how big she is!

Still a little fussy but better than earlier.

Hopefully tomorrow will show much success for the surgery.
