Yesterday I had a follow-up 28 week ultrasound since at my 20 week ultrasound I had complete placenta previa and the baby had fluid on his kidneys.
The new ultrasound showed that I still have a very low lying placenta, the edge of it is covering my cervix. As long as I don't have any issues I will just have a scheduled c-section which I already knew since I had a c-section with Maddie as well.
They also checked his size to see how he is growing. Mr Will is going to be a big baby! I was 27 weeks and 5 days yesterday and he measured 31 weeks by ultrasound and my belly measures 31 weeks. He weighs 3 pounds 8 oz. At my 20 week ultrasound he weighed 1 pound.
Lastly they checked his kidney's. They still have fluid on them. At 20 weeks they measured 7 and 8mm this time at 28 weeks they measured 8 and 19mm. Since one is bigger than 1cm my OB is referring me to a Perinatologist/Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist. I am waiting to hear from them about when we will have an appointment and ultrasound. The ultrasound showed that he has plenty of amniotic fluid, so that is a good sign!
Here are a few pictures of the 3D-4D ultrasound we had yesterday as well.
Mr. Will doesn't look like his big sister at all! I just wonder what he will look like?:)
