I went and got my haircut today. It's short for me. I got it cut because I got the handbook for Nursing school and it said if your hair was shoulder length or longer you have to wear it up everyday. I am not going for that I didn't have my hair long to wear it up everday. So I decided to get it cut off. I went in to get a A-line haircut like Victoria Beckham but not quiet as short. The picture I wanted it to look like is in the middle of the before and after pictures. I think I am starting to like it more as I look at it. I just hope I like it more tomorrow when I have to style it myself. I just hope I don't start bawling when I go to wash it in the morning and there is no hair left!

Jack's new hair cut.
Well on Thursday I decided that I was going to try and cut Jack's hair. He needed a haircut badly and it was either $35 at Puppy Paws or $30 for my own clippers. So I took the $30 for my own clippers. I did accidently cut his skin in one place but it didn't seem to bother him too much. He has only gotten 2 haircuts before this one. I think he did very well! I have some room for improvement but none the less the clippers have now paid for theirselves and saved us some money! I have some picture below of his new haircut, I didn't take any before pictures, sorry! His belly looks a little bald because his hair is so thin!
I am going to get my hair cut on Tuesday, so I will post pictures of that and in 9 days I will be 23 and then the next day I go take my class to get CPR certified! Boy time sure is flying by.

Lots of things going on...
This past week I went and bought all 14 of my books for my first Nursing class, Fundamentals of Nursing. It is only 1 class for the Fall Semester that is 8 credit hours. I just found out today that for the first 2 weeks we will go to school Monday-Friday from 9-3, I am already loving this because I get to sleep in until atleast 7!!!! YEAH!!! Then after the first 2 weeks of class, the new schedule will be Monday, Thursday and Friday 8-12, Tuesday 8-4:30, and Wednesday 8-6. Also, we have our orientation on August 6 and I have to get my CPR certification before August 25, which is the first day of class. I found out all of this today because I got my letter from the school in the mail today telling me all of the details.
The letter says that the school estimates that my first semester books will cost me $700, I budgeted $600, but only spent $428. Man what a deal! I bought most of my books from a student that just graduated from Nursing School. It also says that my uniform/shoes/logo patches will be $200, that's kinda expensive to me.
I am so excited!!! I have already started reading some of my books for the class, call me crazy but I am pumped!
On another note, this past Saturday William and I went to Branson for the day and went to White Water, sorry I didn't get any pictures. We had a great time, it was our first get away that didn't involve going home since last Summer about this time. We absouletly had a blast, one day we will have to go visit Silver Dollar City, I have heard it was alot of fun but the fact that I have heard it called Steal Your Dollar City makes me very leary. So for some updates on our pets...
Rylee, our cat, decided in the past week or so that she was no longer going to use her lovely Pink litter box that I searched everywhere for when I got her.

So, we ended up buying her a new litter box, it's an automatic litter box called the litter maid.

I love it, it's great since I will not have the time to clean it anymore, even though I was only cleaning it once a week before, but it makes her happy. She uses it but when it start cleaning it's self it freaks her out. We gave her some tuna for the first time last week and she loves it!!!
Over the past several months we have taught our dog Jack some tricks, pictures to follow. We could not get the dog to play with anything but his Kong, which he loves peanut butter in. But, we bought this soft frisbee from Wal-Mart and he loves it, he will actually fetch it and bring it back to you most of the times, but today for some reason he wanted to play instead of give it back.

Have you been saved?
William was asked to join a men's group at our church back in the fall. For one of his assignments he had to write out his testimony, which I read and came to figure out that I had never been saved. I grew up Church of Christ and had been baptized but soon come to learn that it was not the same. I never wanted to discuss it before with William because I knew his side and I had mine and I wasn't budging. Well, after reading his testimony and talking with one of William's J-Men leaders that Sunday, Caleb Mitchell, and got saved, January 6, 2--8!!! Then the very next Sunday I got baptized, January 13, 2008.
Have you been saved? Do you know that you are going to heaven when you die? Those were questions that I thought I knew the answers too but once I looked into more I come to find out that I had not and I feel so honored to have all of these Christian people around me that helped change my life for the better!
I always wondered why God put us here, why did we have to be so far from home, but now I truly know the answer, it was so I could become his child and come to know him in a very different way than I ever had.

Summer Job
Today I went to work a little down because I no longer had a job. Today was suppose to be my last day. I was sad because other than working at the bank I don't think I have ever had I job that I enjoyed as much. Apparently, I am very well liked and needed. The ladies in the office all got together and wrote about 10 different letters this morning and got it approved for me to be a Part-Time college employee. I was a Work-Study before. I will be doing the exact same job I was before and it will still be 19 hours a week but now I have my own office, phone, email and all that fun stuff. I feel important!!!:) The best part about this whole deal is that I got a raise!!!! YEAH!!! I didn't pray for a raise I just prayed for a job, but I will definitly give it all to God about me getting a job the very next day. This position is only until the end of August, I find out about Nursing school in about 2 weeks and the school will start back mid-August. So, I should be employeed the whole summer!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSEPH!!! My middle brother turns 18 today!!

What's going on....
Today I went back to work after a week off work. I come back to find out that my last day eligible to work is on Tuesday June 3. I am excited because I don't have to get up every morning but at the same time I think I will need something to fill my time for the summer so tonight I found quiet a few jobs online I applied for. I just hope I get one so I can help pay for my school.
On a side note, I found out that my baby brother has 2 fractures in his arm and has messed up his shoulder pretty bad. He is having to come to visit 6 weeks later than expected because he has to do 6 weeks of physical therapy. Then my middle brother turns 18 tomorrow and is suppose to arrive to boot camp for the Marine's but it has been dalayed because he has to be able to do 3 army style pull ups before he can go in or if he can't do them by August they are going to teach him in boot camp.

Memorial Day Weekend
We left Northwest Arkansas on Friday around 3 to head to West Memphis for the night. We got to West Memphis around 8, unloaded everything and went on our first date night. I can't even remember how long it's been, but it was great for it to be in Memphis. We went and ate at one of our favorite BBQ places called the Rendezvous. After we ate we went to Beale Street without being "attacked" by any pan-handlers, they are very common in downtown Memphis. We walked around Beale Street for a little while and then headed to Jillian's to Bowl. We had fun but I think something was really wrong with the bowling lanes because my ball never went where I rolled it.

Us, on the way back to West Memphis after our night out.
Saturday my mom fried some fish for us that my uncle Odis caught. We headed down to Mississippi to see our precious little niece, Lilly, who will be 2 months old on Tuesday. Sadly I didn't get any pictures of her this time, but that's ok I will be home again soon to see my baby brother. We all went out and ate some Mexican, which was great. As we were leaving we thought we were going to get blown away by a tornado that just ended up passing over, and I think was just some really bad weather. When we got back to the house William baked some of his delicious chocolate chip cookies.Sunday, William's dad grilled out for us and (William's brother) Chris, KK & Lilly. We had ribs! YUMMY! We got to spend alot of time with Lilly, she's getting so big!
Today, we spent the morning with William's dad and then went back to West Memphis to visit with my family and eat at their cookout. I am so glad to be home now. Jack wouldn't eat any of his food while we were gone and Rylee was eating my moms plants.
All in all, we had a really relaxing trip that was much needed, I think it will be awhile before we go again, like a month or so since gas was $3.89 a gallon today!
