Back for Pictures...

Where shall I begin....so many things to post about.
Jack is doing much better now. We stopped his medicine this morning because instead of diarrhea today it was vomit, fun stuff! Finally around noonish I got him to eat some rice cooked in some chicken broth. He loved it! I also gave him a Tylenol, he took a nap and now seems to be back to his normal self.
William is working on finishing the touch-ups in our office from painting it over 3 months ago. The ladder has been in the office and out cat has discovered that she loves it!

Rylee on her new favorite toy!
I have been wanting a new bedspread set or a bed in a bag for quiet sometime now, we will say atleast for 4 years. I just have never bought one because I couldn't find one that William and I both liked. I finally found one and I am so happy! I have never had a bedspread before that matched anything else on my bed.

Yesterday afternoon I went to Mandy's to get some red low-lights put in my hair.
They turned our GREAT! You can't really tell in any of these pictures but I am so glad because I have a new haircut that is so easy to fix and a new color, that was way over needed. I also got to do my first color, other than my mom, and I think I did a good job. :)
The back of my new haircut. I just added more bangs to the front and more layers in the back.

My orientation for school is on Wednesday, and out Anniversary is on Thursday.

I only have 6 more days of work!

Suzy Homemaker...

I decided that I wanted new cutains while I still had time to think about it and do it. So I bought a panel and split it down the middle to cover the living room window and then I bought 2 yards of fabric to make my own curtains for the kitchen. Pictures are below.

Happy 23rd...

Another year is gone.....WOW! It seems like just yesterday that I turned 22! I don't feel old yet, but my youth seems to be fading:) The past year has been very eventful to say the least:

2 of my very best friends moved away, we found out that we were going to be an aunt and uncle, I finally quit my paper route and got a daytime job, we had our 3 year Wedding Anniversary, we went to Hot Springs, AR for the first time ever, my baby brother turned 16, I got to go through my very first Corn Maze, we had our first Thanksgiving and Christmas in our own house, My cat, Rylee, and dog, Jack, both turned 1, I got stuck on the roof of our house trying to put up Christmas lights, I made a A in my A&PII class, thanks so Dawn's help, William began J-Men, that would soon come to change my life forever as I got saved and baptized in the Baptist Church, I won my very first Fantasy Football League, William turned 27, we began Financial Peace University, that would change our lives forever, our niece was born, We paid off our first purchase that we made together, our car, I passed Microbiology with a B, by the grace of God, my middle brother turned 18, graduated from high school and left for Marine Boot Camp and then I got accepted into Nursing School.

In the whole Journey of the past year I have changed alot, I came to know God in a different way than I had ever before, I got to meet lots of Christian couples/parents at our church, I have made lots of lifetime Friendships! I have definitly been blessed! God is good, and he does amazing things. Baby Blake was born and is healthy, Baby Isaiah just arrived last month and is healthy, and all the other 7 or 8 babies that have been born. The year seemed to start off on a down side with my closests friends moving away but apparently that was God opening another door to meet more Christian people!

Happy 23rd to me!

I will update again soon, I have my CPR class tomorrow, and my Nursing School Orientation and our 4 year Anniversary are in less than a month!

New Haircut

I went and got my haircut today. It's short for me. I got it cut because I got the handbook for Nursing school and it said if your hair was shoulder length or longer you have to wear it up everyday. I am not going for that I didn't have my hair long to wear it up everday. So I decided to get it cut off. I went in to get a A-line haircut like Victoria Beckham but not quiet as short. The picture I wanted it to look like is in the middle of the before and after pictures. I think I am starting to like it more as I look at it. I just hope I like it more tomorrow when I have to style it myself. I just hope I don't start bawling when I go to wash it in the morning and there is no hair left!

Jack's new hair cut.

Well on Thursday I decided that I was going to try and cut Jack's hair. He needed a haircut badly and it was either $35 at Puppy Paws or $30 for my own clippers. So I took the $30 for my own clippers. I did accidently cut his skin in one place but it didn't seem to bother him too much. He has only gotten 2 haircuts before this one. I think he did very well! I have some room for improvement but none the less the clippers have now paid for theirselves and saved us some money! I have some picture below of his new haircut, I didn't take any before pictures, sorry! His belly looks a little bald because his hair is so thin!

I am going to get my hair cut on Tuesday, so I will post pictures of that and in 9 days I will be 23 and then the next day I go take my class to get CPR certified! Boy time sure is flying by.

Lots of things going on...

This past week I went and bought all 14 of my books for my first Nursing class, Fundamentals of Nursing. It is only 1 class for the Fall Semester that is 8 credit hours. I just found out today that for the first 2 weeks we will go to school Monday-Friday from 9-3, I am already loving this because I get to sleep in until atleast 7!!!! YEAH!!! Then after the first 2 weeks of class, the new schedule will be Monday, Thursday and Friday 8-12, Tuesday 8-4:30, and Wednesday 8-6. Also, we have our orientation on August 6 and I have to get my CPR certification before August 25, which is the first day of class. I found out all of this today because I got my letter from the school in the mail today telling me all of the details.

The letter says that the school estimates that my first semester books will cost me $700, I budgeted $600, but only spent $428. Man what a deal! I bought most of my books from a student that just graduated from Nursing School. It also says that my uniform/shoes/logo patches will be $200, that's kinda expensive to me.

I am so excited!!! I have already started reading some of my books for the class, call me crazy but I am pumped!

On another note, this past Saturday William and I went to Branson for the day and went to White Water, sorry I didn't get any pictures. We had a great time, it was our first get away that didn't involve going home since last Summer about this time. We absouletly had a blast, one day we will have to go visit Silver Dollar City, I have heard it was alot of fun but the fact that I have heard it called Steal Your Dollar City makes me very leary. So for some updates on our pets...

Rylee, our cat, decided in the past week or so that she was no longer going to use her lovely Pink litter box that I searched everywhere for when I got her.

So, we ended up buying her a new litter box, it's an automatic litter box called the litter maid.

I love it, it's great since I will not have the time to clean it anymore, even though I was only cleaning it once a week before, but it makes her happy. She uses it but when it start cleaning it's self it freaks her out. We gave her some tuna for the first time last week and she loves it!!!

Over the past several months we have taught our dog Jack some tricks, pictures to follow. We could not get the dog to play with anything but his Kong, which he loves peanut butter in. But, we bought this soft frisbee from Wal-Mart and he loves it, he will actually fetch it and bring it back to you most of the times, but today for some reason he wanted to play instead of give it back.

Have you been saved?

William was asked to join a men's group at our church back in the fall. For one of his assignments he had to write out his testimony, which I read and came to figure out that I had never been saved. I grew up Church of Christ and had been baptized but soon come to learn that it was not the same. I never wanted to discuss it before with William because I knew his side and I had mine and I wasn't budging. Well, after reading his testimony and talking with one of William's J-Men leaders that Sunday, Caleb Mitchell, and got saved, January 6, 2--8!!! Then the very next Sunday I got baptized, January 13, 2008.

Have you been saved? Do you know that you are going to heaven when you die? Those were questions that I thought I knew the answers too but once I looked into more I come to find out that I had not and I feel so honored to have all of these Christian people around me that helped change my life for the better!

I always wondered why God put us here, why did we have to be so far from home, but now I truly know the answer, it was so I could become his child and come to know him in a very different way than I ever had.
