Christmas Cookies & Treats

This recipe also isn't mine. It came from a very special teacher and they are fabulous!

Spiced Pecans

1 pound of pecan halves
1/4 tsp salt
1"good" tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar(I use splenda)
1 egg white
1 tsp cold water

Beat the egg white and cold water until frothy but NOT stiff. Add the nuts and toss until they are coated well. Combine the salt, sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this over the nuts and toss well again. Place the spicy-sugared nuts on a buttered cookie sheet with sides. Bake at 225 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
